I'm Blooming - Dominique Eichi
8 x 8 Acrylic
This is for Sheila Tajima's flying moleskin of " What you love " theme.
Well for me one of my loves is flowers and trees and since the trees around here are exploding with beauty I could not help myself but paint one of them.
I hope you like it Sheila

ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Dominique! The light on those blooms is extraordinary. Beautifully done.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful, Dominique. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful, Dominique! I love the dreamy background, too. You've captured the essence of spring!
ReplyDeleteWOW!
ReplyDeleteSpring is in the air.
Colors are amazing.
Very nice lady D.
Gorgeous Dominique! I love way the background is softened and blurred but the flowers are so very crisp.
ReplyDeleteLove the contrast between the background and foreground. It always makes me sad that Spring lasts for such a very short time, what a great idea to take advantage of the abundance of spring blossoms for Sheila, she will love this painting.
ReplyDeleteGreat piece Dominique, has an abstract feel to it and what I like most is the contrast! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone else Dominique. I love the strong focus of the flowers in the center.
ReplyDeleteDomique, you really are blooming, no doubt. Your paintings are really taking on the feeling of your drawings, and that is a HUGE compliment.
ReplyDeleteOops that was DomINique :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your talent Dominique. Very beautiful! When I first looked at it, I had to say Wow!
ReplyDeleteThe glory of Spring blooming can inspire a multitude of moods, and this delightful painting presents a quiet, gentle peace and beauty. I, too, particularly like the muted background that makes the detailed blossoms even more attractive and effective. Well done, Dominique.
