Bright Barn - Michelle Burnett
I was inspired by the bright, vibrant colors Irit uses in her paintings so I thought I'd paint this rather ordinary barn with some saturated color - a bright orange barn with turquoise-ish mountains as a backdrop. Her sketchbook theme is "places" so I choose this barn that is close to home because I thought the roof-lines and shapes were interesting.

Fabulous bright colors. The field is so beautiful. Your right Irit's book does lead you into doing something with vibrant colors and I love your interpretation and choice. Well done.

There is something about barns that makes them great subjects for paintings. You've proved that once again with a super painting, full of color, feeling, spirit and talent. Mahvelous, Michelle.
