ANGELA ELLEDGE

Black ink pen/watercolor pencils
I've chosen the theme: places, and decided to show you my little painting place. I used to paint in the closet (door to the left). Well, things got a little crowded in that closet, so, a trip to one of my favorite thrift stores turned up a decent table/workspace. I moved some furniture around in the family room, and now, the closet is for storing painting stuff... which, of course, is getting very crowded and ready for a cleaning, but that will have to wait until Spring.

Thank you for including me in this fun adventure; I look forward to seeing everyone's art! This theme is meant to be very open, do whatever you like, have fun and enjoy! James, I'm mailing my book to you on Saturday.

  3. Love it! Warm and inviting. Agree with Dean, though--skylights, endless storage, deluxe easels...we can all dream. Really love this w/c sketch.

  6. Angela this is marvelous. I'm envious here, because I've never done watercolour, and I'm not about to screw anybody's book up trying it out just now. You have some real skill with this medium. Hopefully I'll be able to gesso and paint something in acrylic or oil.

  8. Ha! Skylights, north light, deluxe easels -- wouldn't that be nice, but instead, I get to pay for college! Thank you all. I'm excited to work with some different media and work with each of you!

  9. Angela, your painting makes me want to pull up a chair, pop a top, and just sit and enjoy the ambience. Superb work. And yeah..those skylights and deluxe easels should be in order.
