Who's That? by Dana Cooper

James Parker is the artist in our group who always uses humor in his work so when he asked that everyone paint animals I knew that I would be painting giraffes...there is something in their look that makes me smile and occasionally laugh. James, I hope this makes you smile too!

  2. I'm with you, Dana! Giraffes come off as gentle clowns. The Texas boy will love this! :)

  4. I'm crazy about both of these. Those big all-seeing eyes, the beautiful pattern of the spots, echoed in background which is almost as fun to explore as the animals themselves. What is extra nice is that this looks like one that would be really fun to paint in addition to the outcome giving one a big smile! Winners!!

  8. I think giraffes are some of the most graceful animals, these are not only filled with that grace, but also a touch of whimsy. Beautifully painted, this is one that I will get to see in person and am looking forward to it.
