" the road ahead " Dominique Eichi
7 x 9 Acrylics
This is for Angela's moleskins it seems that I reverted to what I like to paint, roads, trees and such with shadows. ( I guess it's my theme in your book Angela) Sorry !
May the road ahead for you be always filled with laughter, mercy, grace, but especially love dear Angela. Hope you like it.
It's coming your way Michelle

Dominique, not only do I love your painting, but also your sentiment of blessing with it; thank you so very much! I love all of the color you've packed into the shadows on the road and if you remember, my theme is places, your perfect place in my book! Our weather is on the verge of making the move towards fall, and I'm anxious to get out there and paint, this would be my perfect view!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful, Dominique! Lovely shadows and light. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person.

ReplyDeleteColors are great and the play with the shadows, perfect!
This can be a nice piece on a large canvas.
Lovely job Dominique. Interesting how you rotated the book using the seam as the horizon line.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting and sentiment, Dominique. Good eyes, Vern, re: your comment the clever composition. It's, well, seamless!
ReplyDeleteA fine painting, Dominique! An idyllic journey down that road.

ReplyDeleteI love roads, there is always a mystery to where they lead to. Love the treatment of the foliage.
