"The Artist" By Irit Bourla

In the last year, 13 artists have participated in The Flying Moleskin project. In Dominque Eichi's book Dana Cooper was painting each of the artists that participated in this fun project.
Here is the artist working on her last assignment.
Dana you wrote this:"To my fellow moleskinners, I realize that you are all younger, thinner, and much better looking than I characterized each of you...I know I am! :)"

And I want to tell you that: Yes I know that you are: younger, young in heart for sure, thinner, and much better looking than I characterize you...

I am going to miss you all!

  3. I definitely see Dana here immediately, especially with her grid of portraits there. This is very clever, I like it, Irit. Don't go yet, I also have several more books to do; hope you'll be around for input :-)

  4. It is beautiful and a perfect painting of Dana for Dana. In addition to all that is mentioned above, I love the fact that you included one of her stunning rose still lifes on the wall behind her!

  7. Love your painting, Irit!

Although the Moleskins are nearly done, it surely isn't "goodbye". I'm sure we'll all be hanging around commenting on each others' works for quite some time to come!
