This is for James' moleskin.
I know he likes animals so I decided to give him the care of a Shepherd for his sheep. For the good shepherd leaves his flock to go find the one that strays. Thus being prevented from being eaten by wolves.
" I myself will search for my sheep and look after them " Eze 34:11
Beautiful, Dominique! So sweet and meaningful...I'm sure James will love it!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! This is exactly the story I shared with the Sunday School children yesterday! I love it! It could also fit my homeless theme! Searching for the lost.
ReplyDeletePOWERFUL PIECE-I think you should do more of these kind of pieces.
Nice one Dominique!
Well done Dominque...what a cute little lamb. I love the title and your idea for James's book.
ReplyDeleteI really do love your little lamb, what a sweet face. And it's a beautiful landscape too; great job, Dominique!
ReplyDeleteI love this!! Fantastic composition, and sentiment. I adore that little face on the lamb, and the blue-violet shadows around the shepherd. beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteCan I just echco everything what everyone else has said? So beautiful, and i love that pinky orange in his ears!
ReplyDeleteExcellent, Dominique!
ReplyDeleteDominique - James will be SO PLEASED with your painting, I'm sure. He is a bible scholar and will appreciate the theme of the lost sheep being found. Your rendition is so good - I agree with Adebanji that you should do more of these types of paintings. All the journals will be keepsakes forever for all of you who are now special long distance friends.
ReplyDeleteDominique - this one is so tender. James will love it for sure! It is metaphoric, as well.
ReplyDeleteMagnifique, Dominique!!!! I feel like like that lost lamb, after being absent so long. You did such a marvelous job on this....can't wait to see it in person. Bless your lil pea-pickin'heart!
