8 x 10 oil on canvas
Continuing back to the geese we saw at the lake last summer. They seemed always to follow the leader, but in this image one wasn't so sure about the plan. This painting is for Vern Schwarz for our Flying Moleskins project. See Vern, I told you I wouldn't forget you. It will be on its way to you when it dries.

Always love your rich oils and it goes so well with these geese, a good way of welcoming spring which is on it's way!
ReplyDeleteA great painting, Camille! Love that one goose who's marching to the beat of his own drummer.
ReplyDeleteI like that one has a mind of his own, too. Very nice, and can't you just hear their collective honking at the odd one!!
ReplyDeleteJoy , pleasure, activity.... being part of a group yet being your own man !
ReplyDeleteThese geese are powerful and so beautiful.
Geese are such wonderful animals..... they take turns in the lead when they fly in V so they don't get too tired, because the first one gets the brunt of the air.
I love the geese, Camille. Wonderful job.
ReplyDeleteCamille you came through with a wonderful piece that I love. Geese are interesting, strong birds, and their actions can be so comical to quietly stoic and elegant. You did a wonderful job capturing their movement and focus. Thanks friend.
