Dolly for Dean

Earlier this year, Dean lost his sweet little Dolly, a tiny poodle who brought him unconditional love for 17 years. I attempted to work from the photo Dean posted of her on his blog, but it was too difficult to see the necessary detail. Dean, I hope this happy girl brings you fond memories of your Dolly.

This sweet girl is the perfect portrait of unconditional love. What a great painting Angela, which I'm sure Dean will love.

  5. Thanks ya'll. I think I did a better job of explaining this little poodle on my blog, than I did here. Unfortunately, this is not Dean's Dolly, but instead a substitute Dolly for Dean...hope that makes sense. :-)

  7. Angela...At present I have a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat the size of a watermelon...But it's all the good kind of hurt...if that makes any sense at all.

You may have painted this from a different dog, but I definitely see my little girl's bright eyed smile in there.

Still missed and still loved, this is a fine tribute to my little unconditional friend.

Bless you, Angela...Much love pours from your brush.
