Paco & The End for James

5x5 oil on canvas paper
This is for my fellow Texas friend, James. James sent me photo references of his dog, Paco and I could not help but think that this funny sideways glance was a perfect depiction of Paco responding to another one of James' tall stories.

5x9 oil on canvas paper
I'm sad to say this is my last painting for the ever talented group of Flying Moleskins. Because this journey has come to an end for me, and with James' wonderful sense of humor, I thought it fitting to end James' book with The End.

Dominique, thank you so very much for including me in this group. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know every single one of you. My moleskine is truly a special gift, and I will treasure it always!

  1. Wow....... we are all going to the DOGS !!! These pieces are so good Angela. Paco eyes are so expressive. James will love it.

  2. These are perfect, Angela! Humorous and tender. Will miss seeing your work first hand in the moleskins.

  3. Really love them both, especially the first one!

  4. A couple of beauties Angela. Great expression on the little dudes face. After seeing a lot of your paintings in person, I have to say, your work is wonderful.

  5. These are absolutely wonderful, Angela!

  6. Angela, This is so marvelous. You have captured TacoBelle just perfectly. Thank you so-o-o-o much!!!!

  7. Beautiful painting on both, Angela!
"The End"...I like how you think...Lol!
Participating in the Moleskins has been an honor.

  8. Two perfect paintings for James! I'm sure he'll be pleased!
The Moleskin journey has been great! I believe I have one more to do yet.
